Every month I open the office one Saturday morning for parents who want to ask questions without booking an appointment to do it. This month is for anyone who is pregnant, planning to be, or in the thick of the first months with a new baby. Coffee's on.
WHAT WE'LL COVER
Pregnancy asks more of the nervous system than almost anything else the body does, and a newborn's nervous system is still maturing for months after birth. I'll walk through what that system actually does, what the three measurements I take can show.
I'm a pediatric chiropractor with a neuro-focused practice, which means I don't start with a symptom. I start by measuring how a nervous system is regulating itself, because that system coordinates almost everything else — muscle tone, digestion, sleep, the stress response. That's the lens I work through, and it's why I scan before I do anything.
A SCAN FOR YOU OR YOUR BABY, AT NO COST
Whether you're expecting or you already have your baby with you, here's exactly what's included:
· A three-part INSiGHT scan — surface EMG, thermal reading, and heart rate variability
· A printed copy of the results to take home
· Me walking you through what those results show
What it doesn't include: a chiropractic examination, diagnosis, X-rays, an adjustment, or a care plan. This is a screening, not an exam, and it is not prenatal or newborn medical care. If you'd like to go further afterward, our initial evaluation is $255 — and you are under no obligation to book it.
The scan is quiet and non-invasive. Nothing cracks, nothing pinches. Babies can be scanned in your arms.
WHO IT'S FOR
Anyone pregnant, at any stage. Anyone with a baby in the first year. Partners are genuinely welcome and not just tolerated — bring them. Older siblings are fine too; there's a mat and a toy corner.
